A federal transport investigation concludes that excess speed on a curve caused the derailment of the Glacier Express train last week that killed one tourist and injured 40 others. The probe into the accident in the canton of Valais's Conches Valley rules out equipment deficiencies and highlights driver error in the crash, which is attracting intense Japanese media attention given that many of the victims are from Japan.
