MADRID - A Swiss gourmand who went missing after dining at Spanish chef Ferran Adrià's exclusive El Bulli restaurant in Gerona was spotted withdrawing money from a cash machine in his native Geneva days later, police confirmed Thursday.

Pascal Henry, a motorcycle courier who had apparently embarked on a round-the-world trip to visit all Michelin's 68 three-star rated restaurants, vanished without a trace on 12 June, triggering an international manhunt.

However, new information suggests he may have returned to Switzerland after bank security cameras filmed him repeatedly withdrawing money between 18 June and 9 July.

The mystery caused Spanish police to comb the area around El Bulli. The searches continued sporadically until Thursday with officers hoping to find any evidence that would point to Henry's whereabouts.
