Foxes invade urban centre of Vauds capital

Foxes are flourishing in Lausanne to such an extent that they have become a nuisance, with residents overwhelming conservation officers with calls for their removal. The population of the cunning wild animals is expanding because many of their natural predators - the wolf, the lynx and the golden eagle - have disappeared from the region, while they are attracted to the city by garbage and by people who reportedly feed them.
