Faster Geneva-Paris train service set to launch

Lyria, the rail company operated by Swiss Federal Railways and Frances SNCF, is set to offer faster and more frequent links between Geneva and Paris starting on Sunday. The journey will take as little as three hours and five minutes, although TGVs will still run at well below their optimal speed due to shortcomings of the shorter new route, while passengers with first-class tickets are promised more perks.
