Edelweiss liqueur distillers reach for the stars

A liqueur distilled from Switzerlands national flower is manufactured in small quantities in cantons Neuchtel and Valais. Concocted from a secret recipe, Edeleiss is said to taste like chestnut and honey with a herbal undertone. However, some five years after its creation, Christian Borel-Jaquet and Stphane Keller are still trying to transform the venture into a commercial success.
