WENGEN - The men's Lauberhorn World Cup downhill ski race has been moved from Saturday to Sunday in the wake of the latest weather forecast for the weekend.

The world governing body FIS said on Wednesday that the downhill will swap dates with the slalom (moved from Sunday to Saturday) after snowfall was forecast for Saturday, conditions which could endanger the longest downhill race of the season.

The super-combined race on Friday is to go ahead as planned.
