Airlines question customer compensation rules

Airlines operating in Switzerland tell Swisster that rules on passenger compensation will be revised following the current aviation crisis. Companies provide customer refunds for flights cancelled due to the closure of air space, but may not refund extra expenses such as hotel accommodation and alternative journeys. Some passenger compensation claims may have to be made via the courts, as carriers find different ways to interpret EU regulations.
