A community organisation for sharing, learning and having fun with others, in a welcoming English-speaking environment. Through its activities it strives to strengthen a sense of community among expatriates of all nationalities and Swiss living in Basel. With 600 members and its central location at Lohnhof, it's an ideal place to make new friends, browse the English book & DVD library, or develop your skills through volunteering. Activities include weekly conversation classes (6 languages), Aperos, coffee mornings, and special events including Art exhibitions, workshops, BBQs, guided tours, etc.
Organises exciting social events and activities for English speaking adults of all nationalities in the Basel region. Come and join our very friendly group as we explore our surroundings and have fun as well!
Organises hare & hound-type paper chases the second Saturday of every month; described by devotees as a drinking club with a running problem.
