The BCT is a non-profit, voluntary organization with a membership of over 130 families, representing many nationalities and cultures with English as the common spoken language. The Open Door is a non-profit making club run by a committee of volunteers and offers a meeting place in Basel for English-speaking parents and their small children. The Open Door`s survival depends on the support and contribution of its members. All members are encouraged to get involved.
