Every question is a good question. That's what they tell you in school, but we could not believe some of the silly questions about Switzerland posed on a website dedicated to, uhm, answering questions. So in an attempt to entertain, we are taking a stab at providing our own answers!
Q: Who discovered Switzerland?
A: Archeology shows that Stone Age hunters have been living in Switzerland already before the last Ice Age. The Old Swiss Confederacy was founded in the first days of August, 1291 (hence Switzerland's national holiday is celebrated on August, 1st).
Q: What country is Switzerland in?
A: Unless we're talking about Little Switzerland, NC, I don't understand your question.
Q: Is Belgium in Switzerland?
A: It depends on your definition of "Belgium" and "Switzerland".

Q: What is the square footage of Switzerland?
A: We're not that small, thanks.
Q:Who is the king of Switzerland?
A: The only king in Switzerland is Burger King!
Q: Are there grasshoppers in switzerland?
A: Yes. Both the insect kind as well as the soccer team kind.
Q: Are there gorillas in Switzerland?
A: Stop it now...

A: Yes, Swiss Cheese originated in Switzerland. It was first mentioned by a 1st century historian who called it "cheese of the Helvetians", one of the tribes living in Switzerland at the time.

A: That's actually a good question! There are many names for the many cheeses made in Switzerland, but none of them is "Swiss cheese"!

A: No, they're banana republics!
Q: Where is the Canadian boarder located in Switzerland?
A: I can't take it anymore!

Q: What is something about Switzerland that most people don't know?
A: In Switzerland, it was once against the law to slam your car door, and every citizen is required to have access to a bomb shelter.
Q: What is the name for the holes in Swiss cheese?
A: The holes in Swiss cheese are called eyes. Swiss cheese with no holes is sometimes referred to as "blind" cheese.

A: The age-old question... I am not legally allowed to tell this Swiss secret though!

A: Apparently, there are three Hooters franchises in Switzerland.
