WOLFSBURG, Germany - Wolfsburg has signed Switzerland goalkeeper Diego Benaglio and Serbian striker Danijel Ljuboja.
''We are going to sign at least one more player,'' coach Felix Magath said Tuesday.
Benaglio joins from Portuguese club Nacional da Madeira and will replace Simon Jentzsch, who has been told by Magath to seek another club.
The Swiss goalkeeper signed a contract until the end of the 2011-12 season.
Ljuboja was signed on loan from Stuttgart until the end of the season, with Wolfsburg holding an option for a two-year contract.
Ljuboja has not played this season after returning from a half-season loan to Hamburger SV. He was dropped from both rosters after feuding with coaches Huub Stevens of Hamburg and Armin Veh of Stuttgart.
But he trained with Wolfsburg this winter and became the 14th new player to be brought in by Magath since he took over at the start of the season.
