Switzerland freezes EUR 3 million of "ETA funds" 02/04/2008 00:00
The bank accounts allegedly belong to the Basque terrorist group and have been frozen by Swiss authorities.

MADRID - Authorities in Switzerland have frozen a total of EUR 3 million in bank accounts which allegedly belong to the Basque terrorist group ETA, sources from the country's federal tax office revealed yesterday.
According to a spokeswoman, there are currently two investigations running regarding possible ETA funds.
However, they have been on hold since 2006, when Spain was asked by Switzerland to take over. Spain is reportedly yet to take a decision on the issue.
