WENGEN - Jean-Baptiste Grange of France put in a scintillating second run to win the men's slalom in Wengen Saturday and register his third World Cup win of the season.
Grange, who also claimed victory in Friday's super-combined event at the Swiss venue, clocked a combined total of 1 minute 34.81 seconds for his two runs.
Sweden's Jens Byggmark took second in 1:35.61 minutes with American Ted Ligety third in 1:35.70.
Norway's Lars Myhre claimed fourth while US all-rounder Bode Miller finished fifth.
The win sees Grange move top of the slalom World Cup standings with 276 points after five of 11 events. Previous leader Benjamin Raich drops to second on 216 after failing to finish with Italy's Manfred Moelgg third on 205 points.
Austrian Raich continues to head the overall World Cup standings with 690 points after 19 of 41 events, followed by Swiss skiers Daniel Albrecht on 562 and Didier Cuche on 525 points.
The men's World Cup continues in Wengen with the famed Lauberhorn downhill on Sunday.
