The Beauty Project will be launched on May 29, 2010, in a show at the Tracé Cultuur Station in Antwerp, Belgium.
The reception will be followed by a jazz jam session, so stick around for music after the opening. Cultuurstation Tracé Veltwijcklaan 222, 2180, Ekeren (Antwerpen), Belgium.
Opening reception: 14:00 to 18:00
Jazz jam session: 20:00 to around midnight
The show is open during the month of June, and may be visited Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 10:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 to 6:00.
We believe that beauty is not always thin and beauty is not always young. In The Beauty Project, women are invited to explore their thoughts about the nature of beauty. The pairing of their ideas and images expands the definition of what is beautiful.
