On May 21, 2015 the first edition of X-PATRUN™ will take place in the Woluwé Park in Brussels. [Contributed by X-PATRUN™]

X-PATRUN™ is a mix of sports, team-building, business networking and entertainment dedicated to expatriates, their employers and service providers.

It starts with a race in teams of three, with distances of three, six or nine km, followed by an award ceremony and a walking dinner.

It's an opportunity to :

  • Meet other professionals of the expatriate community in Belgium;
  • Combine sports and well-being, team-building, and business networking;
  • Participate in teams of three runners (three, six or nine km), and finish the race together;
  • Enjoy the award ceremony and walking-dinner, both included;
  • Benefit from an ideal relaxing atmosphere to facilitate business contacts.

If you are part of the expatriate community in Belgium, you may want to participate with your colleagues in X-PATRUN for one of several reasons:

  • sports makes us happier and more open to others;
  • healthy collaborators are more productive;
  • it's also a team-building event, where cooperation between team-members is encouraged;

  • EUR 285 (EUR 344.85 VAT incl.) / team of three, all included (if registered before March 31, 2015)
  • EUR 315 (EUR 381.15 VAT incl.) / team of three, all included (if registered from April 1 to May 10, 2015 until sold-out)
  • EUR 80 (EUR 96.80 VAT incl.) / extra walking dinner (before March 31, 2015)
  • EUR 90 (EUR 108.90 VAT incl.) / extra walking dinner (from April 1 to May 10, 2015)


An invoice will be sent by e-mail a few days after receiving the registration form.

For each registered team, Running Nation™ will make a donation of EUR 10 to the non profit association
Greenlight for Girls.


  • 16:00: Welcome and bib numbers pick-up
  • 16:00–17:30: Team pictures (podium)
  • 17:45: Group picture & Race briefing (at departure)
  • 18:00: Race departure
  • 19:00: After-race Buffet & Showers (until 21:00)
  • 19:15: Award Ceremony & Drink
  • 20:30: Opening of the Walking Dinner
  • 22:30: End of Walking Dinner & Open Bar
  • 23:30: Closing time

By car

Orange RUNNING NATION arrows will guide you towards the clubhouse


  • Ave de Tervuerenlaan/Ave J. Césarlaan/Ave de l’Atlantiquelaan/Ave Franciscains, then turn left into the Park, and park your car.


  • Rond-Point du Souverain-Vorstrondpunt/Ave du Parc/Parklaan, follow the road up to the top of the hill in the Park, and park your car.


Possibility of leaving your car in the streets open to traffic in and around the Park.

VIP parking in front of the Tennis Chalet.

By public transportation

METRO B LINE to Montgomery Station, then

  • Trams 39 or 44
  • Bus 42


Leave the tram/bus stop “Woluwé”, cross the boulevard towards the park and walk into the Avenue du Parc de Woluwé and take one of the paths on your right X up to the top of the small hill where the Tennis Chalet is located.
