THE HAGUE (AP) - Two Britons have been arrested for alleged involvement in the stabbing death of a bar owner in a Hague seaside suburb, prosecutors said Thursday.

The slaying last Sunday evening was one of a rash of recent attacks in bars or late-night stores in Dutch cities. The two British men, aged 31 and 49, were arrested Wednesday night in the Belgian city of Antwerp, Hague prosecutors said in a statement.

Their identities were not released, in line with Dutch privacy laws. Dutch authorities have already sought the men's extradition, prosecutors said.

"The 31-year-old is suspected of stabbing the bar owner. The role of the other man is still being investigated," the statement said.
