Seals return to the Belgian coast
Environmentalists are asking people to keep their distance and not to bother the seals.
Two groups of seals have been spotted at the Belgian coast. A group of sever seals has been spotted regularly in recent days on the beach in Koksijde. Another group of 9 seals has also been spotted in the yacht harbour in Nieuwspoort.
The seals are healthy and they are finding enough to eat just off the coast. They come out of the water regularly to take a rest. They don't seem to mind spectators but environmentalists are asking people to keep their distance and not to bother the seals. People walking their dogs in the area should keep their animals on a leash.
