BRUSSELS — SN Brussels Airlines will resume flights to the Rwandan capital of Kigali on Saturday, the Belgian airline said on Thursday.

SN flights to Rwanda were suspended at the end of last week after Rwandan authorities kept an SN plane on the ground at Kigali for three days.

"SN is pleased to be able to announce that the Brussels-Kigali flights will be resumed from Saturday 4 March," the airline said.

"This decision was taken after a constructive meeting on Thursday with the Rwandan authorities."

SN Brussels offers a regular service between Brussels and Kigali every Tuesday and Saturday.

The return flight arrives on Wednesday and Sunday mornings at Zaventem Airport.
