BRUSSELS – SN Brussels Airlines has posted net profits for their third quarter of EUR 2 million, the second consecutive time this year that Sabena’s successor has reported a profit.

For the same period last year, SN posted losses of EUR 19 million - the company is remaining cautious however regarding its predications for the rest of the year, as November is traditionally a weak period in the aviation sector.

The Belgian carrier has not yet committed itself to an earnings prognosis for end-2003.

SN is carrying more passengers than ever, with more than 800,000 passengers last summer, while it has succeeded in reducing operational costs by EUR 7 million.
