BRUSSELS — Prince Laurent, who earns EUR 295,000 each year via a public grant, has difficulty making ends meet.
So mush so, Laurent's financial advisor has urged caution, recommending that he reduce his spending, newspapers 'La Nouvelle Gazette', 'La Meuse' and 'La Capitale' reported on Thursday.
The royal couple will reportedly be paid a temporary bonus and British-born Princess Claire will have to dip into their savings account.
The couple wants to hire a full-time nanny for their twins, but that's not financially viable at the moment, the newspapers reported.
Prince Laurent and Princess Claire live with their three children in the Villa Clémentine, which is the property of the Belgian State.
They would preferably prefer a large estate, but reportedly can't afford that either.
