It was a postcard that her father had written during his military service to her grandfather.

Rosa Morre from Opbrakel in Flanders received a special postcard the other day -- it was written on the 27th of August 1926. It was a postcard that her father had written during his military service to her grandfather.

The postcard was sent 83 years ago to an address in Opbrakel in Flanders. It has only just arrived at the home of the daughter of the man who wrote the letter to his father (her grandfather) while he was away on military service. The postcard is marked as being from Liege. How it got there is anyone's guess. But Rosa Morre is happy that the person who found it sent it on its way.

Danny Van Wijmeersch is the postman who delivered the postcard. Coincidentally the street name had not changed. The house, which is still the same, did change numbers. The postman took the time to do a bit of research. With the help of the surname, he started his search.

He finally found a Rosa Morre and disocvered that it was indeed a card from her father to her grandfather.
