Poles detain Latvian suspected of human trafficking
Polish police on Monday nabbed a 28-year-old Latvian woman wanted by Belgian justice officials on allegations of human trafficking after she was caught speeding.
The woman, whose identity was not made public, was transferred to a nearby detention centre and was to be extradited to Belgium, according to a police statement.
Traffic police detained the woman near Bialystok, north-eastern Poland, where she was flagged down for a traffic violation.
