Parent attacks Belgian head teacher

BRUSSELS – A man has punched the headteacher of a Belgian school for disciplining his unruly son, it was reported on Tuesday.
The incident happened on Monday morning in the town of Huy.
The father went to see the headmaster after his son was formally reprimanded for swearing.
The man demanded that his child be allowed to change school but the headmaster said that would not be possible.
The man then punched the headmaster and pushed him to the ground.
He also pushed a school secretary.
The police were called and the man and his wife, who was also present, were arrested .
The wife was subsequently freed but the man was charged with deliberately attacking the headmaster.
The head teacher has been granted two weeks sick leave.
