BRUSSELS — Michel Nihoul, who is currently free on probation, has opened a website on which he asks visitors to answer questions about himself.

On the website www.michelnihoul.be he asks provocative questions in French such as: "How come that man did not commit suicide?" and "Why does he still dress like a prince?"

Upon his release from prison on 28 April, the 65-year-old Nihoul said he wanted to write a second book "to tell the entire truth". He also said he would take legal action against those who defamed him.

Nihoul was sentenced on 22 June 2004 in Aarlen Court to five years jail as part of the trial against child sex offender and killer Marc Dutroux.

He was found guilty or leading a gang that was involved in drugs, forgery of documents and a car swindling. He was acquitted, however, of kidnapping children.
