BELGIUM - The federal government has launched a new website. The site was kicked off at a press conference Thursday morning in the presence of Prime Minister Yves Leterme and Minister of Enterprise and Simplification Vincent Van Quickenborne.

The new version of the website - - contains 11 sub-categories, including Family, Justice, Mobility, Health, Education, Taxes, and Work.

There is also a category entitled 'About Belgium'. It includes information on Tourism and Belgium in general.

The site is available in 4 languages - Dutch, French, German and English.

It also has information on international organisations in Belgium, embassies and consulates. The website includes links to many other websites to provide people with more information on specific questions and issues.

The new site is meant to be more practical and comprehensive. It is also easier for people to use.
