Fantasy Sea Creatures

Age group:  7-11 years old
Tuesday 9th December   4.30 pm - 5.30 pm

In this workshop students will be encouraged to use their imagination to design, draw and create their own fantasy sea creature. During the one our lesson students will explore elements of wonder, distortion and fantasy to create their own ‘fantasy sea creature’.

The student’s will be shown examples of other student work, where imaginations will soar to new heights, expanding their creative minds.

This is a fun and imaginative class, where students will develop their drawing skills, experimenting with pencil crayon and watercolour paint to create their final outcome.

Drawing Techniques

Age 11-17 years old

Learning to draw is learning to see!  Drawing is the fundamental basis for art.  During this workshop you will extend your drawing skills, working from direct observation, experimenting using a variety of mark-making techniques, media and equipment.  Both conventional and non-conventional materials will be used.  From traditional media such as pencil and charcoal to non-traditional materials such as twigs and cocktail sticks.

This is a fun, exciting, experimental and creative workshop where you will develop your drawing skills and have a clearer understanding of the importance of process in art, as well as an exploration into the formal elements such as colour, line, form and shape.
