Purchase of 23,600 metre² of real-estate in the so-called 'European district' of Brussels

19 December 2007 - Irish investors are negotiating the purchase of 23,600 metre² of real-estate in the so-called 'European district' of Brussels. This is the area around the EU institutions.

The real-estate project consists of the construction of two apartment buildings with a price tag of some €60 million.

Construction on the two buildings is due to begin next week. The goal is to finish the construction within two years.

The complex will then probably be used by the European Union.

The interest by the Irish investors was published in the Irish Sunday Business Post.
