BRUSSELS – The Rock Werchter music event has been voted the best festival in the world for the third time by the participants of the International Live Music Conference (ILMC), the annual meeting of all concert organisers.

Herman Schueremans, director of Live Nation Belgium, was also voted best concert promoter for the second time. And Belgian stage company Stageco, which travels the globe building stages for top bands like U2, was crowned “best service company.”

A proud Herman Schueremans said that the three awards show that the rest of the world recognises and appreciates what is happening on the live music scene in Flanders.
