First floating hotel in Port of Brussels

A 60-room hotel will grace the the port as part of the Atlantis Project.

The Port of Brussels is getting its first floating hotel. The hotel is being created as part of the Atlantis Project.

The vessel is being built from wood, concrete and glass and will have 60 rooms.

The Brussels Harbour Board has just given the go ahead for construction.

Last year the port launched an appeal for candidates. The Atlantis Project eventually won the commission.

It will be called Hotel Atlantis.
