No Eurostar trains will run between Brussels and London for a third day Wednesday due to the commuter train crash near the Belgian capital which left 18 people dead, the company announced.

BRUSSELS - "We therefore advise that if you do not need to travel to Brussels today or tomorrow that you defer or cancel your trip," the cross-channel train operator said on its website Tuesday, the day after the fatal rush hour crash between two trains.

Eurostar stressed that its Paris-London services were running normally.

Travellers from Brussels were able to board Eurostar trains at Lille, northern France which would take them on to London, the website statement said.

Eurostar was running an emergency bus service between Brussels and Lille but with "very limited capacity."

The Thalys train operator said its services, to France, Germany and the Netherlands, remained shut Tuesday and a decision would be taken later on whether any could resume Wednesday.
