Belgium's top cyclist Tom Boonen has tested positive for cocaine for a second time in a year.

BELGIUM - Belgium's top cyclist Tom Boonen has tested positive for cocaine for a second time in a year. He has been suspended from his Quick Step team.

The Belgian rider first tested positive for cocaine and xtc in May last year.

After pleading guilty he escaped criminal charges on condition he would not repeat the offence within three years.

He is now likely to face criminal charges and be barred from the Tour de France for a second time.
