BRUSSELS — A Brussels-bound plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Budapest in Hungary on Thursday morning.

The plane was carrying 293 passengers and 11 crew.

No one was injured in the incident, newspaper 'Het Nieuwsblad' reported.

The charter flight of airline Fly Air was en route from Istanbul to Brussels when onboard instruments indicated one of the plane's two engines had cut out.

The plane was inspected after arriving safely at the Budapest Airport.

The passengers — all of them of Turkish ancestry but living in Belgium — boarded another flight for Zaventem Airport.
