BRUSSELS — Six people were killed, including Belgian nationals, in a mini-bus accident in Istria in the northwest of Croatia on Friday.

Croatian national television reported that Belgian tourists were among the victims, news agency AFP reported.

A police spokesman said a mini-bus with seven people on board and a cold-storage truck with Italian number plates were involved in the collision.

Besides the Belgian victims, there were also British citizens and someone with Croatian nationality on the mini-bus.
    
Croatian police have not yet released the nationality or the full identity of the victims.

The accident comes after a Belgian bus crashed in Spain recently, claiming the lives of seven victims, including Belgian nationals.
