Belgian travel agent to evacuate all clients from Egypt
The Belgian travel agency Jetair announced Sunday that it would evacuate all its clients from Egypt where massive anti-government riots raged for a sixth day.
"We have decided to evacuate all our travellers from Egypt," it said in a notice on its website.
Saturday, the Belgian government advised its nationals not to travel to Egypt.
The United States said Sunday it has begun organising the evacuation of its nationals from Egypt.
Jetair said it was currently working on an action plan and said that given the curfew in effect from 4:00 pm (1400 GMT) to 8 am, it would begin the evacuation Monday.
The agency said it had cancelled all its vacation packages to Egypt until February 6.
Jetair, as all other Belgian travel agents, Saturday cancelled all Egypt tours until Monday.
