Belgian seniors more concerned with sex than health
Sex is high on the list as Belgian seniors are more concerned about sex than they are with their health.
In a survey carried out by the consumer rights organisation Test Aankoop on what seniors are most concerned about, sex is high on the list. Belgian seniors are more concerned about sex than they are with their health.
Test Aankoop surveyed 1,500 Belgians between the ages of 65 and 79. Men are less concerned about their health than women. Of those surveyed 24% say they are in rather poor to poor health.
(PhotoNews) More than 80% take medicine every day and 26% take five or more kinds of medicine daily.
Test Aankoop also surveyed the seniors on how active they are. Three quarters say that they do at least an hour of physical activity every day.
Almost 35% say they work or study between one and four hours per day and a quarter of them do volunteer work.
Most seniors are pleased with the leisure time activities adapted for seniors that are offered in Belgium. The seniors are satisfied with public transport in Belgium,. Most seniors may use public transport free of charge.
Money is an important concern for people over the age of 65. 22% say they are worried about their financial future.
