31 October 2007, BRUSSELS (AFP) - The Belgian economy slowed further in the third quarter, growing only 0.4 percent after a gain of 0.6 percent in the three months to June, the central bank said Wednesday.

BRUSSELS (AFP) - The Belgian economy slowed further in the third quarter, growing only 0.4 percent after a gain of 0.6 percent in the three months to June, the central bank said Wednesday.

On a year-on-year basis, economic growth slowed to 2.5 percent in the third quarter from 2.6 percent in the second quarter.
