BRUSSELS - Two hundred Belgians have been asked to cancel their credit cards after their credit card details were stolen via Kartenhaus, a German online seller of event tickets.

The hackers stole the credit card details from 66,000 clients in total, including 200 Belgians. The Belgian clients have meanwhile been traced and informed," Jean-Michel Dasnoy of Bank Card Company said.

"We have asked them to block their credit cards preventively via Card Stop. They will be provided by us with a new, free credit card with a new code in a few days."

The copied details are reportedly from clients who bought tickets via Kartenhaus between 24 October 2006 and 30 September 2007.
