Almost 300 people at Storme funeral

27 June 2007, BRUSSELS – Almost 300 people turned up at the Zavelkerk in Brussels on Wednesday morning for the funeral of the couple and their daughter that were murdered in their textile shop in the Marollen neighbourhood on Saturday 16 June.

BRUSSELS – Almost 300 people turned up at the Zavelkerk in Brussels on Wednesday morning for the funeral of the couple and their daughter that were murdered in their textile shop in the Marollen neighbourhood on Saturday 16 June.

 

During the ceremony a letter was read aloud from Léopold Storme, the couple's son. The 19-year-old is currently in custody on suspicion of having killed his parents and sister. In his letter, Léopold talks about the love he received from his parents and sister.
