4 July 2006, BRUSSELS — Flemish tennis ace Kim Clijsters qualified for the Wimbledon semi-finals on Tuesday, setting up an all-Belgian encounter against Wallonian Justine Henin-Hardenne.

BRUSSELS — Flemish tennis ace Kim Clijsters qualified for the Wimbledon semi-finals on Tuesday, setting up an all-Belgian encounter against Wallonian Justine Henin-Hardenne.

Clijsters defeated China's Na Li 6-4 7-5 after Henin-Hardenne had earlier qualified for the semi-final by dispatching French woman Séverine Brémond 6-4 6-4.

Henin-Hardenne will now meet Clijsters in the semi-final, having defeated her compatriot at the French Open semi-final in June.

The two Belgian tennis stars have played each other 20 times in the past and each of them have one 10 matches apiece.

The victor will meet the winner of the other semi-final being played by Russia's Maria Sharapova and Australian Open champion, French woman Amélie Mauresmo.
