From November 1, anyone buying an airline ticket will know exactly how much he or she must pay for it. There are no longer any surprises when paying for the ticket. Hidden charges or surcharges are forbidden.
Anyone who buys an airline ticket now knows exactly how much it will cost. From November 1 the price that is announced must be exactly the same as the amount that a passengers pay.
The legislation which came into effect November 1 complies with European rules. The regulation targets the misleading advertisements which many low budget companies have used. Many airliners advertised very low prices, but they did not include the extra surcharges that are slapped on top of the price.
