Museum M

Museum M in Leuven was opened by two princesses on Sunday with a prestigious exhibition featuring the work of the Flemish painter Rogier van der Weyden. More than 100 works by the 15th century painter are on display. Museum M is the renovated Vander Kelen-Mertens city museum, incorporating both contemporary and traditional art in its exhibitions. Museum M has around 46,000 works of art in its collection.

The Sexties @ Bozar
An exhibition on the development of the cartoon industry beyond the children’s realm opens this Friday. Come to the Centre of Fine Arts in Brussels to see how four artists, Crepax, Cuvelier, Forest and Peellaert, transformed the comic strip with their combination of erotic and otherwise audacious artwork.

Exhibition: Art By The Sea - Beaufort 03
10 Flemish seaside municipalities will turn into open air modern art museums.
30 national and international contemporary artists are being displayed. One of the most striking contributions is by the French contemporary artist Daniel Buren on the beach of De Haan.
It consists of one hundred masts with colourful flags waving and dancing in the wind- also changing their rhythm depending on the weather conditions.
This is the last chance to see the exhibition which has been on since March this year.
