That was 2008 in pictures - Love & Politics As we bid farewell to another year here are some memorable images from political life these past twelve months.

Love them or hate them, politicians managed to get themselves plenty of coverage again in 2008. From Bruni to Obama they were plastered across the press.

And George W. meant to bow out but ended up ducking out as an Iraqi reporter hurled a shoe at him.
