Expatica's Belgian Fair is strictly not for tourists The 'i am not a tourist' fair will bring together all manner of local experts under one roof.

Expatica's 'i am not a tourist' Lifestyle Fair for internationals is about to make its debut in Belgium.

The "i am not a tourist" Fair will have the range of valuable resources from previous European fairs, but with extra attention given to lifestyle and community related resources for the experienced expat.

For those new to Belgium and in need of information, our fair will supply a selection of the best expat resources this country has to offer. The "i am not a tourist" Fair brings a broad range of companies and agencies who specialise in expatriate services together under one roof.

Those of you who already have your bearings in Belgium can therefore enjoy as many of the features as the newcomers, including food, entertainment and networking fixtures. A number of artists and photographers, Belgian and international, will also be exhibiting their work.

Chalks Corriette, charged with Sales and Community Development in Belgium, says, "We have brought together a broad range of experts, whether it's to help you relocate or just have fun in your adopted country.

Education is always a big feature of these events as people want to find the best solution for their children. They might find help developing their skills, get advice on buying property, finding the best insurance deal, learning languages, starting their own business, finding a new job or looking for a coach.

I am passionate about connecting people with each other and with products and services that are useful and practical. Our first lifestyle Fair has been created from the feedback and forum comments that we get from our extensive community.  For me, my wish is that people enjoy both the event and the location as the museum and park Cinquantenaire are a wonderful setting for our event."

But Chalks stresses that there is also a fun, social side to the day. "There will be tips on networking, learning about art, joining a golf group, finding great wine deals, living a greener lifestyle, and you can even sample frites and waffles."

This one-day fair will present a wealth of information and resources to boost your life abroad. So join us on Sunday 14 June, for what we are sure will become an expat institution.

Online registrations are open. This process helps us with logistics, catering, health and safety. To register go to our Visitors' page.
