Eating the local food is one of the most important ways to experience local culture. After all, you’ll be eating it every day.

Brussels has a bewildering array of restaurants and many believe that its geographical position has much to do with it – Belgians boast they can beat the French for food and the Germans for beer.  

You can’t mention Belgium without mentioning frites, those wonderful little sticks of pure joy fashioned from the humble potato.
