Czech Philharmonic Orchestra
11 June 2009 20h00
The flavour of Central Europe
Zdenek Mácal knows the Czech Philharmonic like the back of his hand. Art By The Sea: Beaufort 03
28 March - 4 October 2009
10 Flemish seaside municipalities will turn into open air modern art museums.
30 national and international contemporary artists are being displayed. One of the most striking contributions is by the French contemporary artist Daniel Buren on the beach of De Haan.
It consists of one hundred masts with colourful flags waving and dancing in the wind- also changing their rhythm depending on the weather conditions. On the beach, walking through the flag poles is like walking through the woods- next to the sea.

Starting from Art Nouveau, through the greens of the North up to Comic Strips, Pro Velo has 11 themes to let you discover the city. You needn’t be a sportsman/woman to join us : it’s family entertainment.
