The advantages of banking with ING Belgium (Sponsored contribution) Relocating? It's good to know that with ING, you can set up your bank account even before you arrive in Belgium.

Once you know for certain that you will be coming to live and work in Belgium, we can set up a bank account for you.

Simply apply to open a bank account and order your bank card straightaway via www.ing.be/expat or send an email to expat@ing.be. The website is available in English, so no difficulties on that front!

You can see the various types of current accounts available on our site. They are easy to open and manage, especially with our online e-banking program, Home'Bank. From the comfort of your home, you can carry out all your banking business, e.g.: payments, transfers, etc. Even investments and insurance are accessible online. Home'Bank is very user friendly and offers the utmost security.

Even before you arrive, you will know your bank account number, and your bank card will be ready for you on day one.

Moreover, expats generally choose to rent a flat or home when they arrive. To that end, we have set up a comprehensive package covering rental guarantee and civil liability insurance for tenants (which is mandatory in Belgium). Once you have chosen where you want to live, all the formalities can be arranged. To find out more, go to www.ing.be/expat or send an e-mail to expat@ing.be. Everything can be settled before you arrive so that you can step off the plane and chill out at home with the knowledge that your rental guarantee and civil liability insurance are all in order.

For more information, visit www.ing.be/expat or consult with Expatica's ING banking expert, Dave Deruytter.
