Primary and Secondary School following full German curricula and leading to recognised German school leaving certificates: Haupt- und Realschulabschluss (GCSES) and Abitur (university entrance). Approximately 700 pupils. Bus service available. Annual fees range from EUR 1,800 to 3,800.

Japanese curriculum with school year from mid-April to mid-March. Primary classes from 6 to 12 years; three secondary classes for students up to 15 years old. There are 320 pupils; average in class is 20.

Additional weekend school (160 pupils) on Saturday mornings enabling Japanese children attending other schools to acquire national culture and literacy. This is available for 6 to 15 year olds. Fees per month range from EUR 174,00.

Dutch basic curriculum for children aged 3½ to 12 years. 180 students study either basic programme or gifted cycle, if qualified. French taught from 3rd year, French and English taught from 5th year. Subsidised by Dutch government, school is directed mostly to children of Dutch nationals and Belgians.

Emphasis placed on social and creative development; music, drama, sports offered. Bus service available in Antwerp and surrounding areas. Fees per year vary according to family income.

Founded in 1973, the Scandinavian School of Brussels provides a Nordic education with an international profile. SSB is recognised by the Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish governments and a member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS).

Scandinavian curricula are offered in Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish and Icelandic as well as the International Baccalaureate. Bilingual education is offered at all levels. The school has new and well equipped facilities: sports hall, science laboratories, Mediatec and computer room.

Kindergarten from 2 1/2 years old, SSB provides education for students up to 19 years. French is taught from 3 years; English from 6. Secondary and IB students can board on the school campus at Château d'Argenteuil. The school and castle are situated in a beautiful green and quiet environment close to Waterloo. Average fees per year range from EUR 9,417 to EUR 23,841.
