- Blair for EU presidentQUOTE (emilio416 @ May 8 2008, 11:25 AM) This petition has no sense anymore since Monsieur le Président Sarkozy has stated OFFICIALLY that France will not support the nomination of Tony Blair as candidate for the presidency of the European Union. So yes, you posted very old news indeed....Just out of interest:http://100777.com/node/1269Blair's name is on that list, and proof he's working to a secret agenda.More?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HA6zNeM3I_MEven more remarkable but true:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leNxMi_0jjE...feature=related, 08/05/2008 03:03

I have walked more than 50 of Wainwright's Lakeland's walks in CumbriaI've also done many of those, my fathers from Cumbria, and I always used to go there every year.My favorite place for walking is around Wasdale.Nothing beats a pint of Lakeland ale after a long walk in the fells! If you like walking & climbing, check out this site:http://www.summitpost.org/, 07/05/2008 08:33
- Probably the scruffiest people in the worldQUOTE (MonkeyNuts @ May 6 2008, 10:34 AM) Well call me old fashioned but I agree, but I don't think it's so much the clothes (although they are mostly hideous), it the lack of grooming. Very badly cut hair, normally dirty, unclean clothes and shoes that need throwing out they are so worn at the heal. These are not poor people, but people that just don't want to spend money and it just gives the impression of can't be bothered and laziness, which for most of the service industry is true.Taking a bit of pride of your appearance isn't something to be ashamed of, but in Holland people seem to think you are some sort of snob or getting above yourself if you dare to dress nicely.Very true what you say, but at least they have their saunas! , 06/05/2008 12:55
- Albert Heijn - Armed Police And What To Do Next!QUOTE (the wickerman @ May 2 2008, 07:19 PM) Trust me. Having lived in this neighbourhood nigh on 9 years, I DO actually know how to handle these kids. Yeah, you just tell them 'Allah is great, god is great'!! , 03/05/2008 06:28
- Albert Heijn - Armed Police And What To Do Next!QUOTE (the wickerman @ May 2 2008, 12:35 PM) I thought that was the term too, but the policeman in the station yesterday used a different term. Can't for the life of me remember now. No doubt he'll have a card with his official title on it.I was supposed to meet him this a.m., but the officer from yesterday didn't realise today was his day off, so called him. I spoke to him for a couple of minutes, but didn't elaborate why I wanted to see him. Seemed like a very friendly Dutch guy.Now we'll just have to see what 'clout' he can pull. I'd assume he is basically a mediation figure that will intervene in community situations, and, if necessary, read the riot act before situations become serious enough to require the intervention of the Justitie department. We'll see ...But do make sure those 'alochtoons' aren't offended in any way, or they'll be lots of cars set on fire, and all because of shopping trolleys! , 02/05/2008 02:40
