- Why I want to leave France (an objective account)Well!!! I am already a brit that has left the UK. Have experienced some time in Belgium and Spain. Just about to enter France. I logged on to see what was actually happening there. The one thing that I have established is that nowhere is like home. No matter how good/bad/different it is. I have more anger towards the UK for forcing me to leave because it was so unbearable. Anyone who believes that the Country they have gone to reside in is worse than where they left. - pension access in EUI will very soon be receiving my State Pension from the UK. However I have 2 other pensions. 1 from employment and the other private. based in the uk. I have been told that I cannot transfer them out of the country. Also they will not pay into any foreign bank account(euros or sterling)I have been living in Spain for 5 Years as a resident. I do not go back to England. This is my home. UK banks will not allow a fully functional account to non residents. Only a savings one,with unreasonable terms imposed and without transfer facilities.
