Two British girls arrested in Brussels with 31 kg of marijuana.
BRUSSELS -(AFP) - Two teenage British girls were been arrested at Brussels airport after arriving from Jamaica with 31 kilograms (68 pounds) of marijuana, the federal police announced Wednesday.
The two 17-year-olds were arrested on Tuesday after they got off a plane from Montego Bay. Police found 33 packets of cannabis in their suitcases, police said.
The suspects were brought before a Brussels prosecutor and were expected to be held in custody pending trial.
